Training: 10-03-2013. End of first week of Texas Method

Today’s training didn’t go as planned. I was supposed to go for a new 5 rep max of 60 kg in OHP, instead I only managed to do one – which is still a new PR. Instead I took 5 kilo off and attempted to do 5 rep with 55 kg, again I fell short of the intended rep and ended up with 4 reps.

The rest of the workout though went as planned.

Todays workout:

  • Barbell Squat:
    • 20 kg x 5 reps (+35 pts)
    • 20 kg x 5 reps (+35 pts)
    • 40 kg x 5 reps (+48 pts)
    • 60 kg x 3 reps (+52 pts)
    • 85 kg x 2 reps (+63 pts)
    • 110 kg x 5 reps (+136 pts)
  • Standing Barbell Shoulder Press (OHP):
    • 20 kg x 5 reps (+49 pts)
    • 20 kg x 5 reps (+49 pts)
    • 30 kg x 5 reps (+57 pts)
    • 40 kg x 3 reps (+53 pts)
    • 50 kg x 2 reps (+52 pts)
    • 60 kg x 1 reps (+48 pts)
    • 55 kg x 4 reps (+75 pts)
    • 55 kg x 3 reps (+66 pts)
  • Bent Over Barbell Row:
    • 20 kg x 5 reps (+20 pts)
    • 20 kg x 5 reps (+20 pts)
    • 30 kg x 5 reps (+23 pts)
    • 40 kg x 4 reps (+24 pts)
    • 50 kg x 2 reps (+21 pts)
    • 67.5 kg x 5 reps (+40 pts)
  • Power Clean:
    • 67.5 kg x 1 reps (+29 pts)
